Sweet Potato Biscuits



Ingredients

2 cup(s) all-purpose flour
4 teaspoon(s) baking powder
3 tablespoon(s) brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon(s) ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon(s) ground allspice
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
1/4 cup(s) cold butter
3 tablespoon(s) cold vegetable shortening
1 cup(s) mashed sweet potato
6 tablespoon(s) milk
2 teaspoon(s) melted butter


Directions

1.Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2.Combine flour, baking powder, brown sugar, cinnamon, allspice and salt in a bowl.
3.Add cold butter and vegetable shortening and mix until crumbly.
4.Add mashed sweet potatoes and milk. Stir until you have dough. Chill dough in refrigerator for 10 to 15 minutes.
5.Knead dough on floured surface — do not overwork. Roll dough to a 1/2-inch thickness and cut with a 1 1/2-inch biscuit cutter. Place biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
6.Brush tops of biscuits with melted butter.
7.Bake for 12 minutes or until nicely browned.

Gelato Recipe


Gelato Recipe

This recipe may be used as a base for your favorite flavors. Try adding vanilla, shaved chocolate or your favorite fruits. Experiment with desired flavors!"


INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)

* 2 cups milk
* 1 cup heavy cream
* 4 egg yolks
* 1/2 cup sugar


1. In a medium saucepan, mix milk and cream. Warm until foam forms around the edges. Remove from heat.

2. In a large bowl, beat the egg yolks and sugar until frothy. Gradually pour the warm milk into the egg yolks, whisking constantly. Return mixture to saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring with a wooden spoon until the mixture gels slightly and coats the back of the spoon. If small egg lumps begin to show, remove from heat immediately.

3. Pour the mixture through a sieve or fine strainer into a bowl. Cover, and chill for several hours or overnight.

4. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker, and freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions. Transfer to a sealed container, and freeze until firm. If the gelato is too firm, place it in the refrigerator until it reaches the desired consistency.source

Fresh Tomato Salsa



1. 4 cups diced tomatoes
2. 3/4 cup finely diced red onion
3. 1/4 cup red-wine vinegar
4. 1 jalapeno, seeded and minced
5. 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
6. 1/2 teaspoon salt
7. 1 pinch cayenne pepper, or to taste

Combine tomatoes, onion, vinegar, jalapeno, cilantro, salt and cayenne in a medium bowl. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Telur Dadar


Resepi paling simple!

Pecah telur dan kacau bersama bawang yang dihiris halus dan tambahkan garam secukup rasa.
Panaskan minyak dan goreng.
Note : Tambahkan daun binjai atau kobis untuk rasa yang lemak2 manis.

Bahan2 :
1.Telur dadar
2.Bawang
3. Garam halus

Tips: Tunggu sehingga minyak betul-betul panas sebelum menggoreng untuk dapatkan telur dadar yang lembut dan rangup.
